Mr. Dempster Chan is the Founder and CEO of Cue Children. He is responsible for the development of the company’s corporate strategy, and provides directional guidance to this end. A seasoned executive and sales & marketing professional, Mr. Chan has more than 20 years of work experience under his belt, and has enjoyed an award-winning career working with several multinational corporations.

From 2008 to 2016, Mr. Chan was the Head and Director of Business Development in the Asia Pacific Region of UPS Capital, the financial and risk mitigation solution arm of UPS, the world’s largest express carrier and package delivery company. Mr. Chan was instrumental in building up said division in the Asia Pacific Region, driving geographical expansion and license liaisons with the government. He was also the legal representative of various UPS Capital entities in China. During his tenure at UPS, Mr. Chan received the President’s Award for his numerous achievements.

Between 2004 and 2008, Mr. Chan worked with leading multinational corporations in pulp & paper and electronics, as well as in the commercial finance industry. His work involved providing directional guidance, as well as driving business excellence and growth.

Mr. Chan began his professional career in 1996 with Philips Electronics in the Lighting Division, a capacity that he worked under until 2004. He has held various positions in sales & marketing within the Lighting Division, and has won two awards during his tenure: one for business excellence and another for demand generation.

Mr. Chan is a regular speaker at local universities, and a mentor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Mentorship Program and the City University of Hong Kong Executive Mentorship Program.

Mr. Chan holds an undergraduate degree in business administration, a Master’s degree in international marketing, and an executive MBA degree from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program. He speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, and the Chinese dialects Cantonese and Hokkien.

Mr. Chan is happily married, and has two children.
