Mr. Eric Chan

Mr. Chan is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marketer, and is a veteran in the IT and telecommunications industry with over 20 years of experience.
He is currently Head of Products & Services at Hutchison Global Communications, and has overseen a wide range of strategic projects, including a trading network and an industry-wide platform.
Mr. Chan is a frequent speaker at international technology & management conferences. He is a founding member and the current Chairman of KMDC, a non-profit learned society promoting knowledge management practices in Hong Kong.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), and a Full Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE), and of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).
Mr. Chan serves in the Family First Foundation, a charity organisation promoting family values and parenting education.
Mr. Chan also serves in various secondary and tertiary academic institutions as an independent board member, mentor, and a part of the advisory committee. He was appointed by the Hong Kong Education Bureau to serve on the Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) to promote a Qualifications Framework for the ICT industry.
Mr. Chan earned a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of London, and a MBA degree from the Manchester Business School.
